NAB Karachi apprehend suspect for being involved in china cutting
KARACHI: NAB Karachi apprehended Muhammad Shakir alias Langra for allegedly being involved in fake allotments and china cutting, on Tuesday. 
According to details, NAB Karachi arrested the suspect for being involved in providing illegal allotments and china cutting. He had been nominated in a case along with 14 other KDA officers and private persons for the offence of fake allotments and china cutting. 
He had been charged with transferring files and making fake allotments pertaining to 281 residential plots on 14 amenity areas of Surjani Town. This, it is alleged, he did in the capacity of DDO (Shifting) KDA in exchange of bribe money worth millions. 
According to NAB Karachi Deputy Director Media Spokesperson Rizwan Soomro, these plots were sold on to other private persons that caused the national exchequer a loss of Rs 168 million.
